Craft & Cover

Privacy notice

Last updated 28 October 2026

This explains what we do with the details you give us through this website. We keep it short and plain.

Who we are

Craft & Cover is a supplier of stretch tents, tipis and custom outdoor structures. [Registered company name and address to confirm] We decide how your details are used, so we are the “controller” under UK data protection law.

You can reach us on 07786 950393 or at [email protected].

What we collect

Only what you type into the site survey form:

  • your name, venue or company, and the type of venue
  • your town or postcode and the space you want to cover
  • your phone number, and your email if you choose to give it
  • when you would like it up, and anything else you add in the notes

Why, and on what basis

We use these details to get back to you, arrange a site survey and give you a quote. The legal basis is that you have asked us to take steps before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We do not use them for anything else, and we do not sell them.

How your enquiry reaches us

When you press the button, your phone or computer opens WhatsApp with your enquiry already written, addressed to our number. Nothing is sent until you tap Send. Once you do, WhatsApp, which is run by Meta, carries the message. Their own privacy policy covers that part.

A copy of the form is also emailed to the team through our form service, Web3Forms. [Delete this sentence if the email copy is not switched on.]

The website itself is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies and does not use advertising or tracking tools. [If Cloudflare Web Analytics is switched on, add: We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.]

How long we keep it

We keep your details while we deal with your enquiry and any work that follows. [Retention period for enquiries that do not lead to work to confirm, for example 12 months.]

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or object to how we use them. Contact us using the details above. If you are not happy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
